Sci-Fi 1992 1st ACE printing Walter Velez Walter Velez was born in the Spanish Harlem section of New York City and attended the High School of Art and Design. Later, he attended the School of Visual Arts and one of his teachers was the late Burne Hogarth, who created the Tarzan comic strip from 1937-1950. Walter has been long known for his cover art for such popular series as Thieves World and Myth series by Robert Asprin and the Ebenezum, Wuntor, and The Cineverse Cycle series by Craig Shaw Gardner. In the early 1980's, he worked with Random House to create several “Star Wars” books that were licensed from George Lucas.

This volume has the logo ('infinity symbol') for New Infinities Productions, Inc. and ACE logo and Letter-Number appears only on the cover and spine.  I have one other of these (see 75676-X Gary Gygax / Sea of Death: Gord the Rogue).  This series (appears to be eleven volumes appeared from 1987 to 1988 and may be related to the fantasy gaming industry (since Gygaz is an author on four of these volumes).  More on this as I snoop some more.
